- Saxton GlobalSamir Puri was raised in London in a family that had traversed three continents in three generations, from Asia to Africa to Europe. He has held positions in the Foreign Office and at prestigious think tanks including the RAND Corporation, the International Institute for Strategic Studies and as a research director at Chatham House.
Dr Puri earned his PhD at Cambridge University in International Relations and has been a lecturer in War Studies at King's College London. His books 'The Great Imperial Hangover' and 'Westlessness' distil these varied perspectives: from the academic to the practical; from the personal to the political; and between east and west.
